    • FreeNetworks IRC Server

    FreeNetworks.org sponsors an IRC server for use by Community Wireless and related groups and users. The server is linked up with the international WirelessIRC network, linking users from community groups throughout the world.

    To connect to the network you will need an IRC application such as X-Chat or mIRC.
    You may also use the BC Wireless Web IRC client if you're feeling lazy.

    The server settings are:

    • Regular connections: irc.freenetworks.org port 6667
    • SSL connections for privacy: irc.freenetworks.org port 7000
